The Iota Nus

October 2019

Thank you for staying connected with the Iota Nu chapter of Delta Sigma Pi by subscribing to our monthly newsletter! Please feel free to forward this email to anyone else who would like to remain updated with our chapter.

After a successful recruitment, we asked 9 individuals to become pledges of Delta Sigma Pi. Pictured above is our executive committee after Community Service Night. The future is bright!

Current Brother Spotlight

Sydney McIntire (IN 1417) is a senior Management major and Spanish minor from Kearney, MO. Sydney is the current Vice President of Pledge Education and also stays involved with Alpha Sigma Gamma on campus. Following an internship last summer at Boeing in Seattle, Sydney was offered a job after graduation at Boeing's Dallas location as a member of their two-year career foundation program. Every four months, she will switch positions to gain experience in different business fields, including finance, supply chain, business operations, and more. Sydney is happy to have met some of her closest friends through DSP, and we are proud to call her a brother!

Brotherhood

This month, brothers met at La Pa for dinner and participated in a photo scavenger hunt to have fun and get to know each other better. The Toast family came out on top!

Professional Speaker

On September 25th, Haley Meissen (IN 1323) and her manager, Renee Neppl, spoke to our chapter about Keyot (a consulting firm) and their Crew212 program. We appreciate their time and willingness to speak with us!

Career Fair

We love seeing our brothers back on campus! At the Career Fair, we were happy to see brothers Zach Wenig, Claire Vasilis, Haley Meissen, and JoAnna Hill talking about their careers. Pictured above (from left to right): Zach Wenig, Kara Luechtefeld, Claire Vasilis, and Aren Buresh

Legacy of Excellence Fund

Thanks to your generous support, the School of Business was able to make some upgrades to Violette Hall over the summer. The upgrades include new chairs, a new group meeting room, reupholstered couches, and reconfigured study areas around the faculty offices. We appreciate your support!
